Benefits of Meditation & Breathwork.
In the last couple of years, our world has collectively experienced a physical and mental health crisis not seen in many of our lifetimes. As a result, new ways of dealing with stress, anxiety and wellness have become paramount in addressing our physical and mental well-being. Breathwork and meditation, although different in their approach, offer individualized approaches to self-healing and growth.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and IāI took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

Meditation
Meditation is a practice in which you deliberately change your state of consciousness using only your mind, body and breath. It is deliberate. Not by chance and not without a purpose. The benefits of meditation include: stress reduction, increased emotional intelligence, strengthening of mind-body awareness, reduced memory loss, improved attention span, lower heart rate & blood pressure, treatment for addiction, reduced chronic pain, better sleep, and increased physical endurance.

Breathwork
Breathwork is using a wide variety of breathing techniques used specifically for breath control. Although breathing is an automatic function of being alive, we can manipulate our breath to achieve a whole host of benefits. Breathwork takes on two forms - first as a tool to deal with everyday stresses and second as a form of therapy to help release past trauma. The benefits of breathwork are very similar to meditation. The difference is that breathwork is an active, physical stimulation of the brain-body connection to achieve faster than normal outcomes.
